Today was Sunday, so that meant Church. Our ward starts at 9 am, so we usually get up around 6:45-7, and we go until 12. Three hours isn't as bad as it sounds trust me, it's broken down into 3 different parts so it goes by fast with good lessons/talks. Today was not one of those days
however, but it was still a good day at Church (they always are really).
A couple of nights ago, Friday to be exact, Michal and I went to dinner at this restaurant in La Mesa called The Riviera Supper Club. It's a really cool place, you order your cut of meat (they have chicken, ribs and all different kinds of steaks) and you cook it yourself on this huge communal grill in the middle of the restaurant. Its loads of fun and cool to get your steak or chicken just the way you want it. Michal got a chicken sandwich and I got the flat iron steak, both turned out to be really, really good (I got my steak PERFECT, seriously best steak I've ever grilled). I promise this little story has a point, just bear we me....
After dinner we decided to go check out the houses around La Mesa....I should probably get this out there now but Michal and I are HUGE architectural buffs and love old style homes, and thats exactly what the hills of La Mesa holds. So we drove around for a bit and saw some really cool houses, but it was pretty dark and couldn't really get a good look at them so we decided to come back Sunday after Church and make it a little adventure.
So thats exactly what we did....we packed ourselves a lunch, grabbed the camera and set off on our journey. We started right back were we left off Friday night, right behind the Supper Club and went from there....Honestly these are the types of things I love doing, plus I wanted Michal to start taking photos again, she's SUPER creative and it's one of the main things that attracted me to her. For whatever reason though, she just kind of stopped once I came around, but then again I stopped writing too.
We saw a lot of "Dream Houses" on our little excursion, we even took some pictures (those will come later). A funny little story on the pictures (and the inspiration for the title of this post), I had stopped in the middle of the street to let Michal take a picture of one of the houses, and I had been creeping down the street at about 5 MPH so I am sure we looked pretty shady. As Michal's taking the picture she says, "I feel kind of creepy doing this..." it kind of threw me off guard cause usually she's the one thats taking risks and wanting to keep going. I just laughed at her and said, "Well we're house creeping babe, thats what we do". We even made a story up so if someone asked what we were doing we wouldn't look so suspect, but I doubt we're the only amateur house creepers out there ;)
And now the pics:

Well thats it...for now,
Until We Meet Again
